Link Sloth operates purely on client-side logic executed locally within your Chrome browser:
Multi-URL Tools: Opens multiple URLs in new tabs and counts or copies tab URLs from your active window upon direct user request.
SEO & GEO Analysis: Inspects on-page HTML elements (such as meta tags, headings, canonical links, image alt texts, and microdata) and checks HTTP response headers directly between your client browser and the target URL you choose to audit.
Link Highlights & Extraction: Analyzes and highlights internal, external, and nofollow links locally within the active tab DOM.
Local Storage: Remembers your local UI preferences (such as the link highlighting toggle) exclusively on your device using Chrome's local storage.
None of this data leaves your local device.
3. Third-Party Services
The Extension does not transmit any data to third-party services or vendors. Any interaction occurs directly between your browser and the website you inspect. The extension contains voluntary external links (such as Ko-fi for optional creator appreciation or Google PageSpeed Insights for optional speed checks) that open in new tabs under their respective privacy policies.
